الفاظ کسی بھی زبان میں بنیادی اینٹ کی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں۔ انہی سے زبان کی پوری عمارت تعمیر ہوتی ہے ۔ اُردو چونکہ لشکری زبان ہے ، اس میں عربی ، فارسی اور ہندی کے علاوہ کئی دوسری زبانوں کے الفاظ بھی شامل ہیں ۔ ان مختلف النوع الفاظ سے زبان بنتی ہے ۔
